Internet Access in the wild.

Our Hughes net dish, that provides us with Internet access,
crapped out last week. Still waiting to schedule a technician
to appear, chant, spread garlic and fix it.

We are forced to use Dial Up. This alone is a project since
our phone line hasn't worked for almost 5 years.

No problem, off to the MPOE we go!

So, throw the computer in the car and hope the battery
holds long enough to get through the download of email.

This terminal is about 3 miles from our house and is the
closest point that we still have dial tone. Not very useful
out here.

A little wire, a spare phone block and poof! Internet access!

Mobile Office! It was raining. It was cold. There were 740 emails waiting.
